Composed in 2009, this 5-part trumpet ensemble is a play on words as per the title. The melodic and harmonic interval of a 4th is prominently featured. You may notice a brief quote from a “fourths field” in a universe where one is expected to “boldly go.” Not too difficult but challenging enough.
