Commissioned by Dr. Cathy Leach, Professor of Trumpet at University of Tennessee (Knoxville) for the “Two Minute Premiere Project” at the Trumpet Festival of the Southeast (2016). The piece begins as a fanfare and includes a lyrical section in 5/8.
