Description

Commissioned by the Georgia Tech Trumpet Ensemble (1997).
This is a two-movement piece for trumpet choir, four parts (Bb trumpet).
Trumpetech No. 1 is a fanfare that features multiple meter changes.
Trumpetech No. 2 is a lullaby of sorts featuring some unusual harmony.
Both movements are playable, but challenging ensemble-wise.
This piece can be played with as few as four players, but was written
so that all parts can be doubled and still be effective.  Trumpetech 1 and 2
provides your ensemble a chance to learn balance, blend and intonation.
